MFTM is a gig-finder built for Australia's metal scene. Find shows near you, follow your favourite bands and other fans, and never miss a pit.
Is it free?

When is it launching?
We're in the build-up to a beta. Join the waitlist to get early access and a say in what we build next.
What platforms will it be on?
iOS and Android. It's coming to the App Store and Google Play — links will appear here and on the homepage once it's live.
How do I find gigs near me?
Allow location access and MFTM surfaces shows around you. You can also browse by city and filter by date. [TODO: confirm filter options.]
Can I follow bands and other fans?
Yep. Follow bands to catch their gig announcements and feed posts, and follow other fans to see who's heading to the same shows.
Do I need separate accounts for different things?
No. You get one personal account. If you're in a band, you add a band profile from your account — no second sign-up.
How do I add my band?
Sign up as a fan, then choose "add your band" to create a band profile. Multiple members can belong to the same band profile, so you're not sharing one login.
How does verification work?
Anyone can create a band profile, but posting public gigs and being discoverable is gated until you're verified. You self-verify by linking socials (Instagram, Bandcamp, Spotify for Artists, Triple J Unearthed) or through scene/venue vouching. Verified bands get a badge. Someone's using my band name — what do I do?
We take impersonation and name-squatting seriously. Report the profile in-app or email contact@metalforthemasses.com.au and we'll review it.
Can I sell merch through the app?
Yes — list and manage merch in the app's store and fans buy without leaving MFTM. [TODO: confirm payments/fees detail before launch.]

How do I delete my account?
